Kempinski Barbaros Bay Bodrum belongs to the Kempinski Hotels  & Resorts Group, being the second venture of the Kempinski Group in Turkey, after the Cıragan Kempinski,  with an unequalled view of the Aegean Sea and its award winning architectural design that was built by the construction company Ay-Sir Turizm ve Insaat A.S. at the Yaliciftlik location of Bodrum.

The hotel includes 148 rooms with own balconies, 11 junior suites, 12 one-bedroom suites and two VIP-Suites as well as 36 residences.

The hotel also contains further food-beverage and entertainment facilities such as the Olives Restaurant, Saigon Club, Pool Restaurant & Bar, Beach Bar, Hotel Bar, Gazebo Lobby Lounge & Terrace, “Cliff Hanger” Nightclub & Lounge and the Game Room as well as 4 meeting rooms, 1 ballroom, ballroom foyer and terrace, the largest swimming pool in whole Bodrum and the greatest Spa to be found in Turkey.

The project contained the preparing of the as-built projects for the electrical installations and includes the medium voltage, low voltage and low current systems as well as the supply of materials, their assembly and taking into operation;

The 3 km aerial lines for the medium voltage electricity requirement of the facility equipped by the latest technology, the laying of 500 m. medium-voltage underground cables, supply of 12 medium-voltage cells, 2x2000 kVA dry-type transformers, 160 kVA oil-type transformers, 2x1600 kVA diesel-generator groups, 7 UPS-Groups at several different power scales, 470 low-voltage main and auxiliary distribution, MCC and building automation system panelboard , energy automation (SCADA), Lighting and socket equipment, 13.000 Lighting armatures, Lighting of the surroundings and of the façade, 12.000 m cable trays, 130.000 AG cables, grounding, faraday-cage lightning protection system, 2.300 end-to-end structured cabling, wireless internet access, telephone exchanger and telephone sets, 180 units of  “incom” room-internal automation systems, Lighting automation systems controlled from 14 different points, 32 camera CCTV,  fire alarm system with 2.200 addresses, widespread broadcast and emergency announcing system from 720  loudspeakers, card-controlled access, car parking, building automation on 19.000 points, satellite antenna with 340 points , Interactive-TV with 310 points, LCD-sets, as well as special sound and light systems at 14 locations were delivered in working condition, following the full training of the personnel, with the completed material supply and assembly and the taking into operation of all systems.
