Ramada Plaza Istanbul is the first hotel to be opened in the centre of Istanbul at the deluxe “Plaza” category of Ramada Hotels & Resorts International being one of the largest hotel chains in the world and belongs to Özbil Turizm, as one of 120 hotels of this kind in the world.

Ramada Plaza Istanbul is located on the Halaskargazi Street, in walking distance to the Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition centre, to the Taksim Square and Nişantaşı.

Ramada Plaza Istanbul is equipped with high technology and has 162 luxury guest rooms where the design of comfort and aesthetics meet in addition to 12 suites an 2 “penthouse suites” totalling 176 accommodation units. The rooms were arranged according to the concept of a business hotel.

Ramada Plaza Istanbul has great meeting facilities such as a ballroom for 350 persons, an amphitheatre and 4 maximum comfort and high technology equipped meeting rooms, as well as activity areas like a panoramic swimming pool at the upper terrace of the hotel and an  “executive club lounge”.

At the entrance floor a mini shopping centre is located that consists of Finansbank, Gloria Jean’s Coffee Shop, a Drugstore, a Jewellery, a Travel Agency, an Hairdresser  (for Ladies & Gentlemen) and a florist.

The project contained the preparing of the as-built projects for the electrical installations and includes the medium voltage, low voltage and low current systems as well as the supply of materials, their assembly and taking into operation;

The 200 m. underground lines were established the medium voltage electricity requirement of the facility, supply of 6 medium-voltage cells, 1600 kVA dry-type transformers, 1400 kVA diesel-generator emergency power groups, 2x20 kVA UPS Groups, the whole low voltage distribution system,  low-voltage, main and auxiliary distribution, MCC and building automation system panel board , bus-bar distribution, Lighting and socket equipment, cable trays, grounding, lightning protection, energy automation (SCADA), infrastructural cabling wireless internet access, telephone switchboards and telephone sets, room-internal automation systems , Lighting automation systems CCTV,  fire detection widespread broadcast and emergency announcing system, card-controlled access, car parking, building automation, satellite antenna TV, interactive TV, LCD-sets, as well as special sound and light systems were delivered in working condition, following the full training of the personnel, with the completed material supply and assembly and the taking into operation of all systems.
